NaNoWriMo: HALFWAY THERE!! 25,002 words :)

I made it to the middle, or to the halfway point in my novel writing. I am so excited!!!! It takes about 1.5 or 2 hours a day to get the required 2,000 words a day in. It really isn't as horrid as it sounds, it is fun and a creative outlet for me. I thought of quiting many times whenLink I was right around 13,000 or so because it all just felt really stupid. The novel felt stupid, I felt stupid for wasting my time and it was jut not coming out and blooming the way I wanted it to.

Understand that things are still really rough, and not even revised or anything...but at least I have written 25,002 words!!! I am proud of myself. I never thought I would make it even half way when I was in that funk. But then that night I decided to just keep writing, keep writing adding on words and it worked. So if you are in a funk with your NaNoWriMo, my humble advice is that you sit down at your desk (or grab your lappy toppy) and turn on your computer, then let the magic flow. Yeah, it won't be magical but it will be on it's way!!!

So, KEEPA-KEEPA and you will be finished sooner than you know it.

HAha, well see how I feel by the end of next week :)

NaNoWriMo!(National Novel Writing Month)

NaNoWriMo= National Novel Writing Month

Friends and Family,
I am writing a novel.(ahhhhh, freaky!!!)I didn't say that I know what I am doing, or that it will be good...just that I am taking the leap. The idea of NaNoWriMo is to write 50,000 words in one month. Just type, type, type!! Next month is when I will go back and edit all my stuff (and cry). Haha, yes after which I will check myself in to a sterilized room with soft walls and locks on the outside of my door! (let's hope not)

So far so good...but I have no idea how what I have will amount to 50,000 words. I will keep you posted. This is fun but I am currently out of the honeymoon phase, right now I feel like I am writing like a 5th grader (no offense).
Yep, I will keep you informed. There is a sidebar logo that should contain my accurate word count.

I have currently written 9,315 words.

Here is the link to
go to my NaNoWriMo page. (it just has my stats and stuff, not super exciting)

bustin' out.

I busted out my gui-tar again. yes, I took a little break. I am not sure why. I think I felt like I wasn't going anywhere. It could also be that I am finally in a new season spiritually as well, a closer place a place where I have a better understanding AGAIN. I know seasons are for reasons...but some are horrid. I am at a place of life again, and it is finally feeling like it is flowing in and out once again.

pastor rob is taking us to places that I had been so many times in scripture my eyes were foggy when we would turn there. the fog has lifted though, and the waters are reaching me. I feel like this is a post saying: I was blind, but now I see. Dry seasons are meant to be, but while I am in this wet season I am going to send out tons of roots so that during our next dry spell I will still be tapping the goods.

God is so good, and oh...incredibly faithful to be and do.

So yes, my guitar. I have started playing again and I am thankful to have not forgotten. I have recently decided to start learning tons of songs in Spanish, since we go to a spanish life group, and that is where the most need would be. I play to worship, and at some point I would love to lead others into worship as well....for now I am soaking in the love, my gui-tar love.

wimp

I am one. I am a wimp. I am currently sitting in a room with air blowing on me believing that I can't get up. Oh, yes believing it. I don't think I can move, my body is dried out by the heat and my mind fogged over. what does that mean? it means I am most assuredly a wimp. or just plain lazy.

I have convinced my limbs that they are to stay, and like a dog that is too old to chase a ball, they remain. I just sit here below a fan feeling the silken breeze. The juice has been sucked out of me, I am tired, or maybe I have a case of the malaise? Don't worry it is highly contagious. come over, you'll feel it too.

A couple nights ago I became the itchy owner of over 20 mosquito bites. I scratched and itched, and put glop all over- ridding myself of the side effects, or so I thought. I never considered that maybe in the process they sucked something from me of much more importance and worth, did they leave my body empty, take the life from me. No, that is silly, like I said I am just a wimp but excuse creating holds much more glow, the actual truth is boring.
