RIP- Ms. Whiny

Well, all dogs go to heaven right...so if dogs go chickens do too. Whiny took a turn for the worst a yesterday and died. She was really becoming a pet, she would just sit there like a parrot and let us pet her and perch on my lap or hand. May she Rest In Peace...she was a good chicken!

So sorry you lost her. I know it must have been rough for you and your family, especially after all of the previous drama with Whiny.

corinne- I know, we weren't either. It really is fine now, but she was sweet.

angie- do you have a blog where I could post comments? I haven't been able to find one for you.

Thank you so much..We are sorry too. IT is fine now though, but I did get attached to her after feeding her with a dropper!!

You really need to check out the BackYardChicken Forum Angie!!! I found someone to go in an an order with me, and I am sure you could too, if you get on there, find me I am "bungaree chickens", the people on there are SO helpful, and if you are going to get chickens you will need their answers, they are living encyclopedias....and are very sweet too!

George MacDonald (CS Lewis' "mentor" and one of my favorites as well) explained the theory that as an animal becomes closer to humans their soul becomes more human-like and therefore does go to heaven. I hold on that theory, myself. :)
